Introductory and Advanced Wellness Training
Wellness Support Alliance will design wellness programs to enhance mental health based on the needs and goals of any organization. We offer a diverse range of specialized wellness training courses which focus on education, prevention, and early detection. For those looking to complete annual educational requirements we have courses which offer TCOLE credits. We also have courses which offer CEUs, required to obtain or renew licenses and certifications.

Whether you're seeking a basic introduction to trauma-informed awareness or an advanced curriculum focused on building resilience and managing stress, our courses are tailored to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate stress and trauma effectively.

Wellness Certification Trainings



As part of our wellness sustainability initiative we offer the following training certifications to training managers and individuals seeking continued education. 

Cooperative Incident Preparedness
40-hour course and certification
The Cooperative Incident Preparedness Training (CIPT) is a comprehensive certification course designed to integrate skills in Critical Incidents, De-Escalation, and Self-Care to enhance the performance in diverse critical incidents in the community. This certification includes regionally relevant and community contextual factors. It equips individuals with methods and knowledge to positively impact their interaction with the community, families, and individuals through a comprehensive set of skills. The training consists of seven, four-hour classes; eight hours of in-field experiential learning, and a four-hour session for assessment and fine-tuning of knowledge.



Behavioral Health Preparedness
32-hour course and certification
The Behavioral Health Preparedness Training (BHPT) is a certification course designed to train officers to understand and implement knowledge of mental health disorders and their behavioral manifestations within a regionally relevant community context. It provides methods and knowledge to interact with individuals in the safest manner thereby reducing risk, injury, and harm. The training consists of five, four-hour classes, eight hours of in-field experiential learning, and a four-hour session for assessment and fine-tuning of knowledge.



Trauma Informed Peer Facilitator
40-hour course and certification

The Peer Facilitator Training (PFT) is a certification course designed for the specific wellness needs of any organization. Includes lecture solution-centered activities, use of learner’s experience, case studies, and scaffolding techniques. In-class exercises and end of course exam consisting of multiple choice and discussion questions. 



Heart Rate Variability
10-hour course and certification

The resiliency-building heart rate variability (HRV) certification course consists of a six-hour basic skills course followed by a four-hour advanced skills course two weeks later. It is designed for employees at all levels to understand the importance of the human energy crisis in the workplace and its effects on health, productivity, and relational distress. HRV offers the ability to self-monitor and enhance one’s motivation as it offers actual data informing of one’s progress.
