Incentives

WSA Security, Inc. companies reward employees with incentive programs such as, officer of the month, officer of the quarter, supervisor of the quarter, employee referral and tenure pins.

In addition, WSA Security, Inc. annually honors two employees who have provided exemplary service with the Global Excellence Awards. The award is bestowed in two categories, administrative and non-administrative. Recipients of the Global Excellence Award receive a cash award, a WSA Security, Inc. Global Excellence Award diamond ring, a diamond lapel pin and a recognition plaque.

Training

WSA Security, Inc.'s basic security and service training programs are college accredited, developed to Police Officer Standards for Training (POST) specifications, and delivered by a highly experienced staff.

The programs are coordinated by Lt. Phillip Satterfield, a Professor at California State University Los Angeles and Rio Hondo Community College.

Portions of the training curriculum include:

  • Safety issues
  • Verbal judo
  • Self defense
  • Firearms training scenario (FATS) programs
  • Weapons certification
  • First responder/first aid/CPR

All WSA Security, Inc. employees are required to complete a pre-assignment training program. In most cases employees receive several hours of additional classroom training that is specific to their job. For example, wheelchair assistants receive training on safety and the Americans with Disabilities Act
